Speak Volumes Without Saying A Word

“Who you are is speaking so loudly that I can’t hear what you’re saying”

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

As our work on the throat chakra continues for the month and we take the time to dive into this energy center of communication and self-expression this is a good place for us to invite and accept exactly who we are and where we are in our life. Being authentic to who you are speaks volumes as people are drawn to authenticity and vulnerability. This isn’t about trying to be or doing something you think others would like to see of you, it’s about being your self. Listening only to you and participating in life according to your personal litmus test of values and morals is a great place to find your mark (or words) without saying a word. This will ultimately allow you to be genuine in whatever you say, when you do choose to speak.

Here’s your challenge: go out today and make a positive impact on someone’s day. Listen. Be sincere. Smile generously. Be generous in praise and compliments. Communication has power to make a difference and change lives, or at the very least make someone’s day more luminous.
